Reclusive and controversial author Bruce Cogburn is drawn out of hiding by an obsessive fan, forcing the novelist to confront a past that he thought he could escape, and to account for events set in motion by his bestseller decades earlier. Cogburn's search for who is behind the manipulation and mental torment he encounters leads to an emotional roller-coaster ride full of fear and danger, where things are not always as clear as they seem to be, and where past deeds can have dire consequences.

Another Trip to So So Land

Kurt Russell's Breakdown (1997) with a similar plot (wife gets abducted, husband tries to find her) is a hell ride filled with suspense, thrill, fine acting and production. In comparison Last Seen Alive is just a lame duck: acting, production, script inferior. Last Seen Alive is not a candidate for a worst movie award or something like that, it's simply one of those movies you already watched many times before, and better and more interesting done.

Predictably predictable

This is one of those films you watch because you doing something, don't want to listen to intrusive music but need background noise...First 5 minutes, thereafter your attention is secondary. Its a great alternative to music, if you need over an hour of the occasional alternative distraction.

If anybody has seen any of these, please can they be returned to Sky so they can actually make a 'Sky Original' film rather than whatever this was.

Thank you!
